The GH6 does so by enabling both pro-level video and high-res stills. On the still side, the GH6 camera can synthesize eight images into a 100MP file, all without use of a tripod, offers subject tracking as specific as eye recognition, a wide dynamic range, 7.5 stop image stabilization and continuous shooting up to 75fps. On the video side, its Venus processing engine supports 5.7K 30p in the high-quality Apple ProRes 422 HQ/ProRes 422 codecs for virtually lossless, high bitrate footage with 4K, allowing for super slow-motion capture, and AF available up to 200 fps. Extended clips are no problem due to a fan-driven active cooling design that draws heat away from the sensor.
