New TIPA website launched at photokina
Madrid, 24 September 2008 – The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) launched a new edition of its website at
The premiere of the fully redesigned website coincides with the photokina, the world’s most important photography and imaging trade show. The new website was designed to provide complete information about the non-profit association. モOur aim was to let photographers know what TIPA is and what TIPA really has done and is doingヤ, said TIPA Vice Chairman Giulio Forti, who coordinated the content of the site. モOur history, our activities, the awards archive, and a quick poll feature are thereヤ, said Forti.
The enhanced design and extended features on the new homepage are a reminder of TIPA’s philosophy. Visitors to the site will find a series of newly designed visual messages made up of pictures combined with claims that stress TIPA’s way of thinking. The current TIPA Awards are pictured and a search function makes it very easy to find all awards given since 1991 by either brand, year or product category. A Quick Poll with a few simple questions on current issues in the industry will allow TIPA to continuously obtain an updated overview on the general opinion of website visitors. Overall, the new structure and well-organized framework of the website makes it user-friendly and easy to navigate with clearly designated buttons easily guiding visitors to the information they are searching for. Reports on up-to-date TIPA news and activities can also be found. Last but not least, it will be very easy to find out more about TIPA members, as well as their magazines and websites.
The new TIPA website has been designed by the Milan based agency Arachno, a prize-winning web agency that has produced web designs for Ferrari and Maserati, as well as many other large companies in Italy and Europe.
