TIPA and DXOMARK Announce Partnership Agreement
TIPA Member Magazines to Gain Lens Tests for Editorial Coverage

TIPA, the Technical Image Press Association, has partnered with DXOMARK, the French technology company and international leader in independent image quality assessment of cameras, lenses and smartphones cameras.
DXOMARK’s test reports for TIPA will provide in-depth image quality metrics covering lenses and smartphone cameras. The reports can be used by all TIPA member publications to support their reviews of new products for their readers.
DXOMARK Tests
The DXOMARK tests are based on rigorous scientific and objective measures and protocols. Plus, to guide end users in their choice, DXOMARK provides on its websites – dxomark.com & dxomark.cn – the largest database of quality evaluations of premium products in the form of scores.
DXOMARK employs 120 people, including one hundred engineers. These engineers have been performing thousands of tests each year for more than 10 years in the company’s 16 state-of-the-art laboratories, which have been developed in-house.
TIPA Members and Support
2021 marked the 30th Anniversary of TIPA, a global organization with member magazines and websites from around the world. The diverse group covers all aspects of photographic activity and serves amateur and professional photographers as well as journals dedicated to trade, marketing, and industry news. With media outlets that include magazines, web sites, trade show “dailies”, and social media, TIPA members reach a worldwide audience throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America.
TIPA itself is a non-profit organization that supports its members with a regular cycle of print and web advertising insertions and authoritative equipment tests. TIPA also sees itself as a strong marketing partner for the photo and imaging industry, with the culmination of those efforts being the TIPA World Awards. Members choose recipients in 40 categories covering the full range of consumer and profession photographic equipment.
