At the recent annual General Assembly in New York, USA, the Technical Image Press Association voted to add two new global members. TIPA now claims a total of 30 international members from five continents and 15 different countries.
In 2009, TIPA transformed the association from a European into a global organization of photo and imaging magazines by adding three new international members from South Africa, Canada and the USA. Now, only one year later, TIPA is happy to gain “CAMERA” from Australia and “CHINESE PHOTOGRAPHY” from China.
“We at TIPA are very happy to advance our globalisation plan, making TIPA one of the world’s largest family of independent photo and imaging magazines made up of the most expert editors,” said Thomas Gerwers, Chairman of the Board. TIPA welcomes its two new members and is happy to be able to spread its message of enthusiasm and optimism about photography to a huge audience worldwide and make the power of its blue logo more effective than ever.
A complete list of all TIPA member magazines can be found on the association’s website at www.tipa.com.
