Awards Ceremony 2025 at the Imaging World Conference and Trade Fair

The prestigious TIPA World Awards ceremony, a highlight in the global photo and imaging industry, took place on October 10, 2025 at the Imaging World conference and trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany. This event, hosted by TIPA Chairman Thomas Gerwers, marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the latest innovations and achievements in photo and imaging technology.
The ceremony brought together representatives from the 40 winning companies, along with key figures from industry trade organizations, media, and leading photo and video companies. It highlighted the outcomes of a year-long process of rigorous research, testing, and evaluation conducted by TIPA members.

Photographers’ Choice Awards

In addition to the TIPA World Award presentations, the winners of TIPA’S 2025 Photographers’ Choice awards were revealed. The recipients were determined by a worldwide online poll that offered photographers the opportunity to vote for their top picks among TIPA World Award winners in the camera, lens, accessories, and tech and design app categories.

The announcement of these special awards underscores TIPA’s ongoing commitment to engaging with photography enthusiasts and professionals, reflecting their preferences in the dynamic world of imaging technology.

Said Gerwers, “For over 30 years, TIPA has been presenting the annual World Awards for the best photographic and imaging products. Last year, for the first time, readers of TIPA member publications had the chance to choose their favourites from these award winning products. The results were so encouraging that we were prompted to repeat the initiative.
Photographers’ Choice 2025 saw a remarkable increase in participation, with users joining from all four corners of the globe.
